Established in 2003, David Ford QA Limited is a quality systems consultancy offering a variety of quality assurance services to all sizes of business. Consultancy Services include the development of quality systems, quality plans, quality system auditing and at source verification activities to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 80079-34, SI 2016 No. 1107, Portaria INMETRO 115 and the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.

The company is run by a father daughter team. Both David and Gemma are qualified Quality Systems Lead Assessors and have extensive experience with the undertaking of ATEX/IECEx/UKEX, INMETRO quality system audits and HazLoc equipment factory inspections, on behalf of a leading UK based Notified Bodies/ExCB's. David is an Incorporated Engineer and Chartered Quality Professional with over 30 years' experience working within the quality assurance discipline. Gemma is degree qualified with two and a half years' experience of the implementation of quality systems for Ex Equipment manufacturing.

Location

The Company is located in Needham Market, Suffolk, Ipswich, with good connections to Southeast England and the Midlands. For assignments further afield, the location is in easy reach of the London airports. Assignments have been undertaken in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, China and South Korea.
